What is BlueJeans, and how do I connect to a BlueJeans conference at IU?

BlueJeans is a videoconferencing provider occasionally used to connect meeting participants at Indiana University to external meeting attendees. If you are invited to join a BlueJeans conference, you should receive connection instructions from BlueJeans by email.

You may also use one of the following three shortcut methods to connect to BlueJeans; replace <confnumber> with the conference number provided by BlueJeans:

  • From a videoconferencing unit in an IU meeting room or from https://bridge.iu.edu, dial <confnumber>@bjn.vc.
  • From Skype for Business/Lync, call <confnumber>@lync.bluejeans.com.
  • Connect to IU's BlueJeans auto attendant: Dial 28 followed by <confnumber>, and then press the # key.
