ARCHIVED: Control who may watch streaming videos on your web pages

Note:

The WWWDM service will be retired on June 30, 2018, and Digital Streaming Media account creation was suspended in April 2017. IU's Kaltura service is available to IU community members who need a media streaming service.

You can make it difficult for unauthorized viewers to watch your videos, but the content will still be viewable to anyone who knows the direct link to the streaming server.

However, you can use standard web server techniques to control access to the web pages with the links to your streaming media. For more about how to do this at Indiana University, see Control web page access for Pages.
