ARCHIVED: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

Select email apps available on these mobile platforms can use Exchange ActiveSync to synchronize your mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks with the IU Exchange server over Wi-Fi or your cellular network; however, the availability and functionality of Exchange features may differ depending on the email app you choose.

Note:
IU allows Exchange partnerships with up to 10 mobile devices. If you experience issues setting up an Exchange account on your mobile device, you may want to verify how many devices you have partnered with Exchange; see Manage your Exchange ActiveSync device in Outlook on the web.

Outlook on the web

Recommended browsers: Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Edge

Note:
UITS strongly recommends that you use a supported browser, and not Internet Explorer (IE). Microsoft 365 apps and services no longer support Internet Explorer.

macOS:
Through Exchange Web Services, macOS does give access to a basic set of Exchange features through Mail, Contacts, and iCal; however, its implementation of Exchange is still limited with respect to the needs of advanced users.
