These telephones do not have an internal directory. Instead, you can program speed dial buttons and list them on the directory reference card. For instructions, see ARCHIVED: Store and then dial other numbers on your office phone
Caller ID phones (Meridian 9316 and 9417)
With Caller ID phones, you can store up to 50 entries and dial their numbers directly from the directory. The names are ordered by the first character; if you want your directory sorted by last name, enter the last name first. Entries without a name will be sorted by telephone number and placed at the beginning of the directory.
Saving a new number
- Press Save, and then press Directory.
- Enter the number using the dial pad, and then press Save. Only the number is stored at this point.
