About the iStream Portal retirement

The iStream Portal, Indiana University's service for delivering some academic recordings, was retired in 2017. Kaltura has replaced the iStream Portal and is available to all IU students, faculty, and staff. Kaltura offers a robust and flexible environment for managing video recordings for a variety of purposes, and can be used for instruction via direct integration with Canvas.

This retirement affects the iStream Portal, which is a viewing and retrieval site for recordings made by iStream. The streaming and recording service named iStream is also being retired, but is currently still available; for more, see About iStream at IU.
