If Outlook won't connect to your IU Exchange account when you're off campus

If you are having problems using Microsoft Outlook to connect to your Indiana University Exchange account from an off-campus location, try testing your account using the Outlook Web App (OWA). The OWA allows you to access your Exchange account via a web browser on any computer connected to the internet, whether you're on or off campus.

If you can't access your IU Exchange mailbox using the OWA, the problem is most likely with Exchange, IU's network, or something else beyond your control. If you successfully access your IU Exchange mailbox using the OWA, the problem is most likely on your computer. In either case, you can contact your campus Support Center for help.
