ARCHIVED: Send a message in Gmail at IU from a campus address

To send a message in Gmail at IU from a campus address (such as @iupui.edu or @iun.edu):

  1. Log into Gmail at IU from the web at google.iu.edu.
  2. Click the Gmail button.
  3. Click Settings, and then Accounts.
  4. Click Add another email address.
  5. Enter your name and campus address, and click Next Step.

    When you're back to account settings, you can choose to make the newly added address the default if you wish.

Now, when you compose a new message in Gmail at IU, a drop-down menu will allow you to select any of the addresses connected to your accounts as the "From" address.
