To receive a bulk discount, a department or lab must purchase a minimum of five seats at $1,500 per year. All computers in this program must use the UITS-managed Esri License Service. Each additional seat is $100 per year. This program includes access to:

  • ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced with all Extensions
  • Esri Maps and Data
  • Esri Tutorials

The agreement allows the use of ArcGIS seats only in one designated instructional Windows computing cluster.

Each computing cluster must designate one GIS primary contact to whom UITS will provide technical support. The class instructor or designated primary contact is expected to provide student and staff assistance.

IU departments interested in ArcGIS for Server may complete the GIS Help form for information about requesting licenses. Licenses available include ArcGIS Server, Notebooks Advanced Server, Image Server, GeoEvent Server, GeoAnalytics Server, and Knowledge Server.
