In Cyrus mail, you can have your incoming Indiana University mail redirected to another email account. To set up forwarding to another email account or to remove an existing forward:

  1. Log into IU Webmail.
  2. In the top menu, click Filters.
  3. On the Filter Rules page, under "Existing rules", click Forward.
  4. On the next screen, in the "Address(es) to forward to:" field, type the email address(es) to which you'd like to forward your IU email. Enter each address on a new line.

To remove an existing forward, remove anything that appears in the "Address(es) to forward to:" field.

  5. To keep copies of your forwarded messages in your IU account, check Keep a copy of messages in this account?
  6. When you're finished, click Save.
  7. To return to your mail, in the top menu, click Inbox.

Note: If you need to forward only some of your email messages, you will need to set up a specific filter; see ARCHIVED: At IU, how can I filter my incoming Cyrus mail?
