At IU, how can I access Esri's Virtual Campus courses?

Indiana University's Esri Higher Education site license includes a subscription to Esri's Virtual Campus Self-Paced Training for IU students, faculty, and staff on all IU campuses. The self-paced training includes free subscriptions to web courses (see the current list), as well as training seminars and Esri Press books. The IU community receives a 40% discount on instructor-led on-site or online courses.

The first module of each web course is free. To unlock the entire course, you will need to request a course code. You may request up to five courses at a time by emailing one of the following contacts, entering Virtual Campus course in the subject line:

UITS GIS
Primary representatives for GIS Support on all IU campuses
Tom Evans IU Bloomington Geography
Hamid Ekbia
IU Bloomington Department of Information and Library Science, School of Informatics and Computing
Cecile Morris
IU Northwest Libraries and IU South Bend
Kevin Mickey IUPUI POLIS Center
Clint Franklin
IU Southeast School of Natural Resources

Procedure to enroll and access your courses

The first time you enter the Esri Virtual Campus, you will need to create an Esri Global Account. If you already have an account, you may log in at Esri Training. Once you receive the course activation code, you have one year to complete the course.

To learn how to register for instructor-led courses, email UITS GIS.
