ARCHIVED: About document IDs in the Knowledge Base

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

Every Knowledge Base document has a four-letter document identifier, or docid, which you can locate in two places. The URL for each Knowledge Base page shows the docid at the end. Also, each docid appears near the bottom left of each page ("This is document xxxx").

If you know a document's docid, you can quickly locate the document by entering in the search box:

  docid:xxxx

Replace xxxx with the four-letter docid.
