Your authorized email address is the address at which you'll receive notifications of site activity, and the address you'll use to send and receive email messages through the Email Archive tool, if applicable. To use an email account other than your Indiana University account (e.g., a Hotmail, Yahoo!, or Gmail account), change your authorized email address.

  1. In your My Workspace menubar, click Account. You'll see the details of your account, including your authorized email account (next to "Email").
  2. Click Modify Details.
  3. In the "Email" field, enter the email address you want to use to send and receive site messages.

Note: If your authorized email address is invalid, missing, or incorrect, you will not receive site notifications or email messages, and others will not see your correct contact information in the roster. You cannot enter more than one email address.

  4. Click Update Details.
