The Earth System Grid (ESG), an Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) Science Gateway, integrates supercomputers with large-scale data and analysis servers at national laboratories and research centers to create a powerful environment for next generation climate research. The ESG provides access to data, models, and tools for the global climate change research community. In particular, the ESG provides access to a 150 TB collection of climate and ocean model data, and serves as a central point for distribution of the Community Climate System Model, as well as other related data sets and analysis and visualization tools. For more, visit the ESG portal.
