Exporting your Webmail address book

To export your Webmail address book to a comma-separated (.csv) or tab-separated (.tsv) file for use in another email client, such as Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Log into Webmail.
  2. On the toolbar, click Address Book.
  3. On the toolbar, click Import/Export.
  4. Under "Export Address Book", use the drop-down list to select from these export formats:
    • Comma separated values
    • Comma separated values (Microsoft Outlook)
    • Tab separated values

Both options for comma-separated values save the file in .csv format; for this task, you may safely choose either.

  5. Click Export, and then save the file to your computer or other storage medium.

The address book file is now ready to import into another email client.

    • If your exported Webmail address book is saved in tab-separated format (e.g., contacts.tsv), select Tab Separated Values (Windows).
  4. Click Next.
  5. Under "File to import", click Browse to locate your address book file on your computer, click the file to select it, and then click Open.
  6. In the "Import a File" dialog box, under "Options", select how Outlook should handle any contacts that already exist in your Exchange account; choose one of the following, and then click Next:

  7. In the "Import a File" dialog box, under "Select destination folder", locate your Exchange account Contacts folder, click to select it, and then click Next.
