Reports and Dashboards

Reports and Dashboards, a locally developed tool available in Canvas, allows instructors to view all reports available for their course in one place. Currently, this tool is only available to Teachers, TAs, Designers, and related roles. Each user's course role determines which reports are visible in Reports and Dashboards. Additionally, some reports are only visible in credit-bearing courses, and access may be further restricted to faculty of record.

Access Reports and Dashboards

Reports and Dashboards is a default tool in the course navigation menu. If you don't see it in your course, you can add it by following the directions below.

View reports

Reports are displayed as cards arranged in a grid pattern. The title and description provide a brief overview of what's available in the report. Click the thumbnail image to see a full-size screenshot with sample data. To view a live report, click Open Report (the report will open in a new tab). To access documentation for a report, click Learn More.
