ARCHIVED: Using Oncourse Assignments, how do I complete and submit an assignment?

Your instructor or project leader may set up assignments for you to complete and submit online. To work on an assignment:
- In the menubar of the relevant site, click .
- To open the assignment, under its name, click .
- To work on the assignment, follow the instructions from your instructor or project leader. You may need to type something into the text box, add an attachment, or both.
- To add an attachment, click the ARCHIVED: Options for adding attachments.
The maximum file size for attachments is 200 MB. Whether you add an attachment from Resources in your My Workspace or upload an attachment from your computer, you are still limited to 200 MB.
Note: Some instructors may choose to have student submissions automatically submitted to Turnitin.com. If your instructor is using Turnitin for your assignment, make sure your attached file fits the specifications listed in ARCHIVED: File types and sizes for Turnitin in Assignments. - If you want to save your assignment to complete later, click
Note: While your assignment is saved as a draft, your instructor cannot see it. For your instructor to see it, you must submit the assignment.

- You will see an alert asking if you are sure you want to submit
the assignment. Click
Note: Don't click
until you're certain you're finished with an assignment. Once you click , you'll no longer be able to access the assignment (e.g., to add more text or attachments) unless your instructor returns it to you. However, you can refer to the "Assignment Details" section to see if your instructor set up the assignment to allow multiple submissions; if so, you can begin the assignment again and submit your later version. Your instructor will see both submissions. to submit the
assignment.
You will receive an email message confirming your submission. You should save this confirmation for your records, at least until you receive a grade for the assignment; if there are any problems with your submission, administrators may need this information to help resolve the issue. If you do not receive a confirmation, check to see if you've successfully submitted the assignment. For help, contact your campus Support Center.
