ARCHIVED: About mobile devices and the Exchange 2010 server migration at IU

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

Once your mailbox has been moved to the new Indiana University Exchange 2010 servers, you may need to configure your mobile device for the new mailbox before syncing will continue. For any device, if the steps below fail, or your device OS is not listed, try turning your device off and then on again. If your device still does not sync, contact your local support provider (LSP) or your campus Support Center.

On this page:

Windows Mobile 6.0-6.5

Your Windows Mobile 6.5 device may display something like the following:

"There has been a change made on your server that requires you to re-synchronize all items on your device. All changes made since your last successful sync will be lost. Do you wish to continue?"

You will then get the option to select Yes or No. Clicking Yes should cause the device to sync. Choosing No will close the dialogue box. If you click No, you will need to go to the ActiveSync program on the device and click Sync.

Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 devices may not display any message or error. Go to the ActiveSync program on the device and click Sync.
