Create install media for macOS

If you don't have it already, first download macOS from the App Store. Do not immediately install it, however, as that will then remove the installer from your computer.

Note:

Departments should create an Apple ID for departmental Mac App Store and iTunes purchases.

Once you have the installer, follow the instructions for creating install media in Apple's How to create a bootable installer for macOS.
