In 2017, the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) helped launch the first annual Practice & Experience in Advanced Research Computing (PEARC) conference. The PEARC conference series continues the success of past XSEDE conferences in fostering the development of a dynamic, connected community of innovative research computing professionals from academia, government, industry, and other organizations who are significantly advancing the effective operation and use of campus and national research cyberinfrastructure. Conference organizers place particular emphasis on engaging under-represented minorities, under-represented domains, women, and people with disabilities.

The 2019 conference (PEARC19) is scheduled for July 28 - August 1, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago, IL. The theme is "Rise of the Machines (Learning)". For more, see the PEARC19 website.
