Note: The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (Indiana CTSI) retired its implementation of the Alfresco Share document collaboration service on August 31, 2015. Currently, site members have read-only access to their documents; the ability to upload new ones is disabled. For alternatives available to researchers at Indiana University, the University of Notre Dame, and Purdue University who want to store and share their documents using another service, see ARCHIVED: After the retirement of Alfresco Share, what other service should I use to store and share my research documentation? If you have questions about the Alfresco Share retirement, or need help choosing a replacement service, contact Indiana CTSI Support.

Only researchers at Indiana University, Purdue University, or the University of Notre Dame can request IU Alfresco Share accounts. Once you have an account, you can invite collaborators who are affiliated with IU, Purdue, or Notre Dame, and others who are not; see ARCHIVED: In IU Alfresco Share, how do I invite collaborators to a site?

To request accounts:

  1. Use the Alfresco Account Request form. From here, you can request an Alfresco account for yourself, a collaborator, or a group of collaborators.
  2. For each account request, supply the person's first and last names, and an IU email address (see email address information for all IU campuses), a Purdue email address (e.g., username@purdue.edu), or a Notre Dame email address (e.g., username@nd.edu).
  3. To submit your account request(s), click Submit.

You and your collaborators will receive confirmation email messages when the accounts have been generated.
