ARCHIVED: Reset your voice mail PIN

At Indiana University, follow the instructions below to reset a forgotten voice mail PIN in the UniCom Enterprise Voice system (that is, if you use Skype for Business or an IP or USB phone).

If you have an older (landline) phone, you'll need to contact UITS Telecom Services at 812-856-2287, option 3, with your questions about voice mail.

Note:
The following applies only to the PIN you use to access the voice mail system (if needed); see ARCHIVED: Access your voice mail in UniCom Enterprise Voice. Depending on your setup and the type of phone you have, you may also have one or more PINs for the phone itself (such as a conference/reset PIN or a phone unlock PIN); those are separate from the voice mail PIN.
  1. Log into Outlook on the web.
  2. At the top right, click Settings (the gear icon), and then Options.
  3. On the left, click phone. If it's not already selected, click voice mail near the top.
  4. Under "reset PIN", click Reset my voice mail PIN.... This will send a temporary PIN to your Exchange email inbox. Call Microsoft Outlook Voice Access, and use that PIN to log in.
