ARCHIVED: How do I transfer files between my personal computer and XSEDE digital services?

To transfer files between your personal laptop or desktop computer and Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) digital services, use Globus Connect Personal, part of the Globus software-as-a-service for data transfer and file sharing. Globus Connect Personal turns your personal computer into a Globus endpoint, allowing you to share and transfer files between other Globus endpoints (including XSEDE digital services), even if your computer is behind a firewall.

Note:
To use Globus software-as-a-service tools, you need a Globus account. To sign up for an account, fill out and submit the Sign Up form.
