Remove a site from Google Custom Search

Note:
At IU, you can use Google Custom Search on your website free of charge as part of the Google at IU service.

To remove a site from your Google Custom Search Engine (CSE):

  1. Go to Google Custom Search Engine and log in with your Google account.
  2. Next to the name of your custom search engine, select control panel.
  3. In the left-hand column, choose Sites. A list of domains that your CSE searches will display.
  4. Check the domains you want to remove from searches, and then select Delete.

To remove the CSE from your site, remove the code from your site that you added when you created the CSE.
