The International Workshop on Science Gateways (IWSG) is an annual conference of scientists and developers focusing on research into issues pertinent to the use and wider adoption of Science Gateways to promote the advancement of research in multiple science disciplines.

Presentations and demonstrations cover topics that include, but are not limited to:

  • Enabling technologies and development frameworks
  • Management of high-throughput data via science gateways
  • Portal technology and portal construction methods
  • Usage models and gateway tools in different disciplines
  • Security
  • Usability
  • Workflows
  • High-level tools for managing grid and cloud portability
