Following is a summary of the new features available in Adobe Connect 9:

Meeting participants have easy access to zoom and full-screen options in a Share pod. These options are also available to viewers during recording playback.
Meeting hosts can choose to display a highlighted frame around the active speaker's video so participants can easily identify the speaker.
A new short answer type of poll is available for the Poll pod.
Meeting hosts can pause and resume recordings during live sessions.
While editing a recording, a meeting host can hide the Chat pod, Attendee pod, and/or Q&A pod. When the Share pod is the only remaining pod in the recording, it expands to fill the "Connect" window to improve the viewing experience.
Meeting hosts can add, edit, and delete bookmarks or chapter markers in a recording, creating an index for recording playback. Bookmarks allow viewers to advance to specific spots in a recording; chapter markers are higher-level groupings of several bookmarks.
Before sharing a recording, a meeting host can hide the names of all attendees from the Chat pod, Q&A pod, and Attendee List to help protect the identity of the participants.
Hosts can send messages to selected participants from the Q&A pod, enabling them to communicate with participants as needed, even when the Chat pod is not being used.
A meeting host can opt to show the cursor of the application being shared in a Share pod.
Meeting hosts can disable the webcam preview.
