Description:

UniCom (Unified Communications) at Indiana University uses Microsoft Skype for Business to bring voice, video, and data together in a unified desktop communication system, providing instant messaging (IM), telephony, email, desktop sharing, and audio/video conferencing.

Note:

Office telephone service for faculty and staff at Indiana University has transitioned from Skype for Business to Teams Calls.

Cost: Free of charge

Adoption process: All Indiana University students, faculty, and staff are eligible to use UniCom. When you sign the Emergency 911 statement, you automatically get a UniCom Basic account. To change your service, contact your department's telecommunications coordinator or IT Pro.
