Service name: Condominium Computing

Role: Computational research

Description: This service allows departments and researchers to purchase nodes to be added into the computational research cluster, Carbonate. This provides groups more flexible access and higher priority for research batch jobs.

Cost: Cost recovery for computational nodes; administration, networking, power, and shared rack equipment is provided by UITS.

Adoption process: Researchers can contact the High Performance Systems group in Research Technologies to set up a memorandum of understanding.
