ARCHIVED: Changes to distribution of statistical and mathematical software at IU

As of July 1, 2022, many statistical and mathematical software packages previously available for purchase are available to students, faculty, and staff without fee. These include the following:

• SAS
• SAS JMP
• Stata
• Mathematica
• SPSS
• Matlab
• ArcGIS
• NVivo

You can access the software installers and license codes via IUware. There will be no changes to the software available in the Student Technology Centers or on IUanyWare and the research systems. A University account will be required to access installers and license keys.

UITS will not be providing Amos and Maple beyond June 30, 2023. To help you prepare for this change, Maple will be provided without fee through June 30, 2023, and will be discontinued after that. For help with transitioning from Amos, contact the UITS Research Applications and Deep Learning team.
