As a program coordinator, how can I add my program's standards to the Taskstream standards database?

As of October 1, 2017, Taskstream is only available to students enrolled on the IUPUI campus and in the Schools of Education on the Bloomington, South Bend, and Southeast campuses.

In Taskstream, standards (also commonly referred to as outcomes or competencies) can be used in DRF programs in several different ways:

  • Program coordinators can attach standards to individual rubric criteria. Assessment results can then be aggregated by standard in performance reports.
  • Program coordinators can attach standards to the instructions for any section in the DRF to indicate the knowledge, skills, and/or attitudes to be developed or assessed in the section.
  • Students can attach standards to their DRF submissions to indicate the knowledge, skills, and/or attitudes represented in their work.

The Taskstream standards database already includes hundreds of state, national, and international standards. Before you submit a request to add your program's standards, search the database to confirm that they are not already available.

If your standards set is not yet in the Taskstream database, notify the consultant you are working with from your campus teaching and learning center, or send an email request to Your email message should include (as an attachment or in the body of the message) a list of the standards exactly as they should appear in Taskstream. UITS will work with you, your unit's leadership, and Taskstream to get the standards entered into the Taskstream standards database.

It can take several weeks to have a new standards set added to Taskstream.
