About the IUPUI Chromebook Loan Program

During COVID-19 and until IUPUI returned to in-person operations, a limited number of Chromebooks were available for loan to IUPUI students, faculty, and staff who did not have needed technology to learn or work remotely during COVID-19. Chromebooks were mailed at no fee. Models included Asus C300 and C202.

Since normal classes resumed on August 23rd, 2021, return your loaned Chromebook to the Division of Undergraduate Education Technology Services during the first week of school:

  1. Bring both the Chromebook and power supply to Taylor Hall, UC B04. Take the elevator to the lower level, and turn right. Enter the first door on the left.
  2. Drop off the Chromebook and power supply with a member of the DUE Technology Services team.

Note the terms of the loan:

  • The loaned Chromebook and power supply are property of IUPUI and must be returned to the Division of Undergraduate Education Technology Services in the Lower Level of Taylor Hall (UC B04) when IUPUI resumes normal, full face-to-face operations.
  • It is the responsibility of the requester to care for and maintain security of the loaned computer equipment.
  • The requester will be responsible for the replacement (up to $350) if the Chromebook and/or power supply is lost, stolen, or damaged due to misuse.
  • You must abide by all IU policies and Acceptable Use Agreements.
