Upcoming UITS noteworthy system changes

The following is a list of upcoming noteworthy changes to UITS systems. Noteworthy changes are designated by the UITS Operations Committee. In evaluating changes for inclusion on the noteworthy changes list, the principal criteria are that the change is planned (in other words, not an urgent issue), requires users of the system to make a non-trivial change to their process, and impacts a large number of users. System changes that meet these criteria are further evaluated by the committee for inclusion on the list.

  • Q1 2023: The Kuali Institutional Animal Care and Use module will replace the existing departmental database.
  • December 2022: New quotas were instituted for Google Storage at IU. This was a multi-month project with key milestones before this date.
  • December 2022: Anthology Ally was enabled by default on all Winter 2022 and Spring 2023 Canvas courses.
  • September 2022: The Student Information System (SIS) transitioned its application navigation to a new interface.
Note:
Change items older than three months are removed from the above list.
