Import Canvas content from a previous semester course

To import Canvas content from a previous semester course, instructors should follow the instructions in How do I select specific content as part of a course import?

Important:

In the step labeled "Select Migration Content", select the radio option for Select Specific Content. This gives you much greater control and flexibility over which content gets imported into your new course.
Most importantly: You should uncheck the option for External Tools. This will prevent several known issues with tools that integrate with Canvas being copied from semester to semester.
