Sign into Yealink MP50 (USB desk phone) in Hot Desking mode

To function correctly for the IU community, the Yealink MP50 must be in Hot Desking (not Personal) mode. The Yealink MP50 is not compatible with macOS.

1. Sign into the MP50:
   1. Assemble the phone.
   2. Connect the phone's power cord to an AC outlet.
   3. Connect the phone's USB cable to the computer.
   4. See the user's name and picture appear on the phone screen. Lift the handset to verify dial tone.
2. Be sure the Skype for Business app is not running in background. Exit it completely.
3. In Microsoft Teams, the user should:
   1. Sign in.
   2. Select the Calls icon and verify "Yealink MP50" is listed as their chosen device.
4. On the MP50 phone:
   1. Touch the user's picture.
   2. Touch Settings.
   3. Touch Basic Settings.
   4. Touch [Teams user name]____Hot Desking Mode.
   5. Touch Hot Desking Mode.
   6. Touch the home icon.
