ARCHIVED: At IU, what instructional technology resources are available for faculty and instructors?

Many resources are available for faculty and instructors at Indiana University who wish to use computing technologies in their classes. Some of these resources are described below. To learn about other resources, consult with your campus teaching and learning center, or ask in your department about additional resources that may be available to your department or school.

Campus teaching and learning centers

Pedagogical and instructional technologies consulting is available for faculty and instructors on every Indiana University campus through partnerships across the university between the Learning Technologies division of UITS and relevant campus units.

Classroom Technology Services

Classroom Technology Services (CTS) provides multimedia equipment and display devices, training, and support to those teaching in general purpose classrooms. CTS is responsible for the installation and operational integrity of the technology permanently installed in classrooms, and also makes available a limited range of mobile equipment.

Streaming audio and video

Videoconferencing

IU faculty and staff can reserve specially equipped rooms for videoconferencing at any of the IU campuses; desktop videoconferencing options are also available. See ARCHIVED: About videoconferencing at IU.
