What is Minitab, and where can I access it?

Minitab, originally intended as a tool for teaching statistics, is a general-purpose statistical software package designed for easy interactive use. Minitab is well suited for instructional applications, but is also powerful enough to be used as a primary tool for analyzing research data.

At Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI, Minitab 16 is available in the Windows Student Technology Centers (STCs).

This software is also available via IUanyWare.

Note: If you are an IU student using Minitab for a class exercise and have questions about your work, begin by asking a class instructor for help.

If you have questions about using statistical and mathematical software at Indiana University, email UITS Research Analytics. Research Analytics is located on the IU Bloomington campus at Woodburn Hall 200, and is open for consultation by appointment Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
