In the Wells Library at IUB, where can I buy and consume food or beverages?

In the Herman B Wells Library at Indiana University Bloomington, you can buy food and beverages at:

  • The Campus Café: Operated by IU Residential Programs and Services (RPS), the Campus Cafe is located on the main floor in the Commons area, offering ready-made and made-to-order food items, chilled beverages, and hot coffee, tea, and custom espresso beverages from Hubbard & Cravens Coffee and Tea.

    Hours for the 2016-17 academic year are:

    • Monday-Thursday 7am-1am
    • Friday 7am-7pm
    • Saturday 11am-5pm
    • Sunday 11am-1am

    Hours during summers, holidays, and breaks may vary.

  • Vending machines (lobby level): Vending machines located just off the lobby are accessible during regular library hours.
  • The Bookmark[et] Eatery: Operated by IU Residential Programs and Services (RPS), the Bookmark[et] Eatery is located on the ground floor of the Wells Library. It includes five micro-restaurants offering a blend of international cuisine and local favorites. At Wells Library, food is permitted in the cafeteria, lobby, West Tower, and East Tower first and second floors. Covered beverages are permitted throughout the library, although exceptions to this policy may be posted in some areas.
