Windows

Internet Explorer 8

  1. From the Safety menu, click Delete Browsing History....
  2. Check History, and then click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options....
  2. In the "Browsing history" section, click Delete....
  3. In the "History" section, click Delete history....
  4. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
  5. Click Close, and then click OK.

Internet Explorer 6 and earlier

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options....
  2. In the "History" section, click Clear History.
  3. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK or Yes.
  4. Click OK.

Firefox 3

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check Browsing History, and then click Clear Browsing History Now.

Firefox 2

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check Browsing History, and then click Clear Browsing History Now.

Chrome

  1. On the upper right, from the Tools menu (Chrome Tools menu), select Options.
  2. From the Under the Hood tab, click Clear browsing data....
  3. Select Clear browsing history and Clear download history, and then click Clear browsing data.

Mac OS and Mac OS X

Safari

From the History menu, click Clear History.

Firefox 3

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check Browsing History, and then click Clear Browsing History Now.

Firefox 2

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check Browsing History, and then click Clear Browsing History Now.
