ARCHIVED: What is Courseload?

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

Courseload is an online learning and collaboration tool that provides textbooks and other resources in digital form. Courseload allows students to highlight, annotate, bookmark, and search, and also to consolidate and share study notes.

At Indiana University, Courseload is available as part of IU's eTexts initiative; see eTexts @ IU. Students and instructors in participating classes can access Courseload through the Courseload eTexts tool in Oncourse.

Note: Courseload eTexts will appear in the menubar in all Oncourse course sites for which the instructor has ordered eTexts; see ARCHIVED: At IU, how do I search for and order eTexts? If you are or have ever been a member of a course site using Courseload eTexts, you can also access your materials from the Courseload eText Archive link in My Workspace. (If you have not, you won't be able to access anything from this link.) Instructors of courses using eTexts can add the tool in Site Setup if it has been accidentally removed, but those who have not signed up for eTexts cannot use it.

For help documentation, see ARCHIVED: Courseload eTexts.

For help with IU eTexts, contact your campus Support Center.

Instructors can get help with Courseload eTexts from the campus teaching and learning centers.
