Note:

Office telephone service for faculty and staff at Indiana University has transitioned from Skype for Business to Teams Calls.

In Skype for Business, you control what information your contacts can see about you by setting their relationship to you. The table below indicates what contacts at each level can see. For Indiana University's Skype for Business system, Colleagues is the default level for IU-affiliated contacts.

To change a contact's privacy relationship, right-click the person's name in your contact list, move your mouse to Change Privacy Relationship, and select from the five available levels.

Note:
1 At IU, work numbers are typically furnished automatically by the Active Directory, but may not be available for all faculty and staff (for instance, those who have opted to have their information not appear in the IU Directory). You must enter and publish home, mobile, and other numbers if you want the specified contacts to see them; see ARCHIVED: Manage your phone numbers in Skype for Business for Windows.

People assigned to the Workgroup level can interrupt you when your status is Do Not Disturb; they will see your status listed as "Urgent interruptions only".
