Mason, a large-memory computer cluster at Indiana University, was retired from service on January 1, 2018.

Carbonate, Mason's replacement, is configured to support high-performance, data-intensive computing for researchers using genome assembly software, large-scale phylogenetic software, and other genome analysis applications that require large amounts of computer memory.

If you have questions or concerns about the retirement of Mason, contact the High Performance Systems group.
