Block your IU office number from caller ID

You can request a block on caller ID for your Indiana University office phone number for all external calls you make. To do so, use the UITS Telecommunications Request form. However, if you call other Microsoft Teams users by name, your name will always be displayed.

If your number is masked, the caller ID of the other party will display your number as one of the following numbers, based on your campus:

You cannot block your number for individual calls in Teams Calls. However, if you are part of a call queue in Microsoft Teams, you will have the option to dial an individual call from the call queue rather than from your individual phone number.
