About ServiceNow

Overview

ServiceNow is an IT service management product and is generally best for:

  • IT workflows, particularly where automated workflows such as assignments, routing, and approvals are needed
  • Tracking trends and metrics about specific services
  • Departments that want to track hardware assets
  • Departments that use BeyondTrust and wish to integrate with a ticket system
  • Processes in which workflow traverses multiple units
  • Interactions that will contain data classified as Restricted data and below; ServiceNow is not approved for Critical data
