Here is a brief overview on setting your default template. If you need more in-depth information, consult WordPerfect Help and search for templates.

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. Double-click the File icon.
  3. In the File Preferences window, click Templates.
  4. Select your default directory (usually c:\office\wpwin\template).
  5. Select your default template (the template that has the settings with which you want WordPerfect to start).
