To return your document to Word format after it has been formatted as HTML, first open the HTML document in Microsoft Word. In Word 2011, 2010, or 2008, from the File menu, select Save As. In Word 2007, from the Office Button menu, select Save As. Then select one of the following:

Word Document saves the file in the newer .docx format.
Word 97 - 2003 Document or Word 97 - 2004 Document saves the file in the .doc format, compatible with earlier versions of Word.
