At IU, what statistical or mathematical software is available, and how can I get it?

At Indiana University, statistical and mathematical software is made available to students, faculty, and staff by UITS Research Analytics.

IU students, faculty, and staff with valid university IDs can purchase or lease statistical and mathematical packages through UITS Research Analytics. Some packages are limited to campus use, while others are available for both campus and home use; for details, email Research Analytics Sales. At IU Bloomington, you can buy or lease statistical and mathematical software at the Research Analytics Center. On other IU campuses, visit your campus bookstore. For more about purchasing or licensing statistical and mathematical software at IU, see these Research Analytics pages:

Additionally, Research Analytics makes software available for use via the Student Technology Centers (STCs) at IUB and IUPUI, the Quarry research cluster, and IUanyWare. For details, see the Research Analytics Public Software Availability page.

If you have questions about using statistical and mathematical software at Indiana University, email UITS Research Analytics (formerly known as the Stat/Math Center). Research Analytics is located on the IU Bloomington campus at Woodburn Hall 200, and is open for consultation by appointment Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. For more, visit Research Analytics on the web, or call 812-855-4724 (IUB) or 317-278-4740 (IUPUI).
