The Enterprise Unix Environment (EUE) is a complex of several IBM servers developed and maintained by UITS Enterprise System Administration (ESA) to support Indiana University Information System (UIS) applications.

The servers run the RedHat Linux 5 operating system, and are interconnected via a Gigabit Ethernet switch for fast data transfer. The EUE database servers are connected via fiber channel to a storage area network (SAN), providing online storage for Oracle databases.
