To apply commands to multiple messages in Pine, enable the aggregate command set feature:

  1. From the Pine Main Menu, press s for Setup, and then c for Config.
  2. Press w for WhereIs, and then enter aggregate.
  3. The selection "enable-aggregate-command-set" should be highlighted. If there is not already an "X" next to it, press x to set the option.
  4. Press e to exit, and then press y to commit your change.

For information about using the aggregate command set feature, see ARCHIVED: In Pine, how do I perform an action (like saving or printing) on a large number of messages at once?
