At IUB and IUPUI, what is the rate for corporate direct-dial long distance calls?

Note: The following rates and billing increments are effective as of June 1, 2008, and will first appear on your July 2008 invoice.

At Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI, the rate for administrative domestic direct-dial long distance calls is $0.07/minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are billed at $.07 for the first 60 seconds of the call and in 15-second increments thereafter.

Calls made from IUB or IUPUI to any other IU campus are free of charge; you must dial them using an authorization code like other long-distance calls, but they will be billed at a rate of $0.00 per minute. From an office phone, you can call between IUB and IUPUI with no charge by dialing the last five digits of the number (e.g., 5-1234).

For current rates for administrative international calls at IUB and IUPUI, call 812-856-2287 (IUB) or 317-274-3004 (IUPUI).

Note: Direct-dial long distance is not available in campus housing at IUB and IUPUI. However, IU has partnered with MobileSphere to provide residential long distance and international calling. For more, see At IU, how can I make personal long distance telephone calls? Also, students, faculty, and staff may take advantage of special pricing for AT&T personal cellular service; see Details about IU's agreement with AT&T for personal discounted rates.
