- In Internet Explorer, click
Tools, selectPop-up Blocker, and then clickPop-up Blocker Settings.
- In the "Address of website to allow" box, type the address (or URL)
of the website you want to see pop-ups from, and then click

Note: While this approach allows more flexibility in defining when pop-ups are allowed, configuring the browser is more difficult.
- Make sure you're on a blank page, and not at a web site. The
easiest way to do this is to temporarily set a blank home page,
and then close and relaunch the browser. For instructions, see
How do I change the home page for my web browser? If you don't start from a blank page, the
following steps will configure pop-up settings only for the web

- Now that you have defined actions based on trustworthiness, you
can define actions based on domain. (For example, you can
choose to trust every
iu.eduweb site, e.g.,webmail.iu.edu,oncourse.iu.edu,onestart.iu.edu.) It is not absolutely necessary to do this, but it is a good idea. You can skip to the next step if you prefer. To add a domain, follow these steps:
- Click the
Add Sitebutton to open theAdd Site Settingswindow. - In the "Domain" field, enter the
domain you wish to add. For example, to include every
iu.eduweb site, enteriu.edu. - To select the category you want to assign to the web site,
use the
Initial Trust Settingdrop-down menu. For example, if you want to trust theiu.edudomain you defined, selectI Trust This Site. If you are uncertain, or if you distrust the domain, selectI'm Not SureorI Don't Trust This Site.
- Click the
- Select the
