ARCHIVED: In the OneStart IU-Notify page, why don't I see my contact information?

Note: The IU-Notify service is for current students, faculty, and staff. If you do not see an IU-Notify tab in OneStart, you likely have former status and are not eligible for such notifications.

If no contact information is visible for you on the IU-Notify page in OneStart, one of the following may be the cause:

  • If you are enrolled at Indiana University but have not registered for classes within the past year, your contact information will not be visible. You can still add your current contact information to the system, but IU-Notify will send emergency communications only to currently enrolled and future-enrolled students.
  • Information may not be displayed if the system is down for maintenance. UITS regularly schedules down times to perform routine maintenance and system upgrades; see Scheduled maintenance for UITS systems During this time, you will not be able to view or update your contact information; you will, however, still be able to receive emergency notifications.
